DECEMBER DREAMS

DECEMBER

DECEMBER DREAMS

Another season of advent

Arrives at our door.

Bringing an arctic blast

To our northern shore.

Candles flicker in the dark,

Frost hangs hard on frozen bark.

Winds howl, people shiver,

Tall trees shake and quiver.

Christmas not so far away,

Brings delights and joy for a day.

Children’s laughter fills the air,

Quelling our bitter despair.

A time to love and to live,

Start afresh and forgive.

Cherish these precious times,

For the old year chimes,

It too soon will be past,

Don’t let those regrets last.

Another season of advent

Arrives at our door

Bringing an arctic blast

To our northern shore.
